El Palacete del Embarcadero hosts the exhibition ‘stations’ of Bilbaoarte-Press NOTE (04/15/2013)

14 Apr 2013
The ‘stations’ of Bilbaoarte, a collective exhibition that investigates ‘the passenger’ of creation, ‘will dock’ this afternoon at the Santander jetty palace. This is the first of the activities proposed by the I Cultural Meeting ‘So close’, a program designed by Santander and Bilbao to “boost and enhance the development of actions that benefit the cultural and tourist fabric of the two cities”. This was stated this morning the mayor of Santander, Íñigo de la Serna, during the presentation of 'Stations', a sample that collects the works of 16 young artists of the scholarship program promoted by the Bilbaoarte Foundation, in collaboration with BBK, and who is curated by Petra Joos, the Museum Activity Director of the Guggenheim Bilbao Museum. The artists who have participated in this exhibition are: Elssie Ansaro, Bergado, Isabelde Naverán, Naia del Castillo, Mikel Eskauriaza, Use Fullaondo, Burchhard Garlichs & Sonja Meyer, Miguel Ángel Gaüeca, Abigail Lazkoz, Txuspo Poyo, Mabi Revuelta, Ixone Sadaba , Eduardo Sourrouille, Íñigo Tena and Begoña Zubero. Through "stations", the public can "revive" the time that artists have experienced during their stay at the Bilbaoarte Foundation and its routine in day -to -day future. Now, for the first time, they can enjoy and approach these works visiting the Palace of Santander.
