Ana Pastor became the first head of Development that meets with the Board of Directors of the Puerto de Santander-Press NOTE (06/26/2012)

The Minister of Development, Ana Pastor, accompanied by the president of the Government of Cantabria, Juan Ignacio Diego; the president of Ports of the State, José Llorca; The Government Delegate in Cantabria, Samuel Ruiz, and the president of the Port Authority of Santander, José Joaquín Martínez Sieso, signed on Monday afternoon in the Book of Honor of the Puerto de Santander, before maintaining an informal meeting with the Council of administration of the institution. This is the first time that a minister meets the Board of Directors of the Port of Santander. During the meeting, the minister was informed about the main actions that are going to be carried out within the Santander Maritime Front remodeling plan and on the strategic lines of port development at the service of the economy and employment. Ana Pastor showed great interest in the projects of Puerto Santander and for her transcendence for the economic future of the community. Subsequently, he visited the two large and modern solid bulk terminals (ore and agri -food), witnessed some of the maneuvers integrated in vehicle traffic, and was informed about other aspects of APS activities.
