The commercial port
Educational justification:
The students will discover everything that goes on at the port using the activity to be carried out in the surrounding area. Many people work professionally on a daily basis at the port and this work is very important for the day to day running of the facilities in terms of the tasks they carry out to assist transport processes and the exchange of people and goods.

How?: You should read the students page 2 of the chapter and talk about the number of people required and the tasks carried out in the daily running of the Port of Santander.
Where?: In the classroom.

Assessment: For the teacher to decide.
Activity objectives:
To make the students see the importance of the "commercial" activities at the port. This group of activities includes all functions relating to the services provided to passengers, goods and the ships that transport them.
