Organising and managing the port
Panoramic view of the Port
Educational justification
For everything to run smoothly, things need to be organised effectively. For this reason, there is a group of people at the port, from bodies or companies, who belong to what is called the Port Community. The Port Authorities are responsible for the management, administration and control of the port. In addition to these people, who are in charge of organising the port, there are a number of different services that are often not known about, and which have important purposes. It is therefore important for the students to discover this group of people who make up the Port Community and who provide services that are essential to the running of the port.
