A port for all
Panoramic view of the port
Educational justification
Almost all the activities carried out by man require the help of transport to complete them. We are constantly moving; from home to school, to work, to do the shopping, etc.
In order to get from one place to another we use transport - land, sea and air-, and vehicles.
Sea transport has been one of the most interesting means of transport throughout history. Furthermore, the port is very financially active; it is a source of wealth and employment for communities located in the surrounding area. Many different activities are undertaken at the port, such as fishing, trade, sport, etc.
It is interesting to see how the port area is divided up according to different requirements; each activity is located in a particular area and takes up a particular amount of space.
Piece of work linked to the following stage areas:
Knowledge of the surrounding area, Spanish language, Art and Consumer Education.
