Competitiveness & service quality
Panoramic view of the Port of Santander
The strategic framework that underpins the Port of Santander is based on two, unavoidably linked and fundamental elements:
Capitalising on the specialised, state of the art port terminals, to which we should add those developed in the last few years under the requirements of our customers, signifies a definitive step forward in terms of obtaining a balanced cost / service quality ratio.
Quality that is noticed by the customer and the port environment. There is no point in adapting to specific standards if the processes or results arising from quality systems are not advantageous in terms of the services offered and do not therefore benefit customers or sustainable development. For this reason, the Port Authority's policy has been to work closely with our main customers and, at the same time, develop quality plans that are specific and tailored to characteristics of their traffic.
